The history of model railroading in our family started before I was born with my grandfather who was an avid lover of model trains. As a child I remember his layout in the basement and my brother John always at his side. Eventually, going off to college, medical school, residency and fellowship put a hold on my hobbies for many years. I served as a military physician for several years, then returned to civilian life to take care of children with pulmonary disease and sleep issues. I have experience in program development for children and am recently retired. I attended the Indy 2021 convention with John, and I am having fun diligently working to learn more about O Scale modeling. I bring a genuine interest in how to advance the hobby of O Scale modeling and rely on my brother to be my mentor. My hope is to bring new insight to OSK, pulling on my various past experiences, and look forward to being a part of the team.
